FAITH or PERFORMANCE?

LINK

Why do many mugs get stressed today?

God does not require us to do anything to be His witnesses, or Christians.

It is not our job to try to make the kingdom of God, what we call relevant today.

Too often we may have thought that we had to do something to be loved by God. God loves us and calls us to rest in the rest of faith.

v 10 FOR HE WHO HAS ENTERED INTO HIS REST HAS HIMSELF RESTED FROM HIS WORKS, AS GOD HAS HIS. V11 THEREFORE LET US BE Eager TO ENTER INTO THAT REST, SO THAT NO ONE SHALL FALL BECAUSE OF A CORRESPONDING DISOBEDIENCE.

Let us emphasize:
The rest in question is rest from our own works. All our efforts to give ourselves a more favorable position with God are in vain. We must learn to rest in faith that what Jesus did on the cross is sufficient, and all God requires of us is faith in the finished work at Calvary
Eagerness to enter into rest suggests a fervent desire and yearning that drives us to unconditional trust in God's promises. Disobedience, as mentioned earlier, is refusing to accept God's offer of grace and help.

v 12 FOR THE WORD OF GOD IS ALIVE AND ACTIVE AND SHARPER THAN ANY TWO-EDGED SWORD; IT PENETRATES SO IT SEPARATES SOUL FROM SPIRIT
AND Marrow FROM THE BONE AND IS JUDGE OF THE THOUGHTS AND OPINIONS OF THE HEART. v 13 NO CREATION CAN BE INVISIBLE TO HIM, EVERYTHING IS EXPOSED AND OPEN TO HIS EYES, AND WE ARE ACCOUNTING FOR HIM.

Here we encounter one of the most misunderstood verses in the Bible.
Many here see God as someone we should be afraid of, since he sees everything, his word penetrates everything, and he is ready to judge everything we think about. But we must remember to compare these two verses with the three that follow, which speak of GRACE and HELP from one who understands the temptations and sufferings we go through on our journey through life. I believe that God is precisely warning us against having a wrong idea of who He is and what He is like.

The author confronts all delusions about God's grace and declares that even though he knows everything about us, he still loves us so much that he will help us in the difficult situations of life. God certainly judges (the things in our lives that need a change), but He does not condemn us. His judgment in this matter is always intended to help us to victory over the things we have to struggle with.

v 14 SINCE WE NOW HAVE A GREAT HIGH PRIEST WHO HAS ASCENDED THROUGH THE HEAVENS, JESUS, THE SON OF GOD, SO LET US HOLD TO THAT CONFESSION.
v 15 FOR WE DO NOT HAVE A HIGH PRIEST WHO CANNOT HAVE COMPASSION
WITH OUR Frailties, BUT ONE WHO HAS BEEN TEMPTATED IN ALL THINGS AS WE ARE, YET WITHOUT SIN .v 16 THEREFORE LET US APPEAR WITH BOLDNESS BEFORE THE THRONE OF GRACE, THAT WE MAY RECEIVE MERCY AND FIND GRACE TO HELP IN TIME OF TIME.
Here we find one of the most important reasons why Jesus had to live here on earth for more than thirty years. It was not to prove anything to God, but so that we could be sure that Christ goes through the same things that we encounter and thus we can become aware that he understands us.

We have a high priest who, after having lived through the worst sufferings and the cruelest treatment of those around him, has now returned to his Father. He represented God among us, and now he represents us with the Father. He knows how we feel, he has experienced all the evil that the world has to offer. He has felt the suffering on his own body and felt the evil in his mind. Nothing has gone through pain inside and out like him.

That is why he can understand us when we, trusting in his grace, seek help. He does not have to make up for his own weakness before he can help us. Although he is perfect and has never sinned or given in to temptation, he knows that we need his help in these areas.

Our boldness must not be dependent on us having succeeded in doing the right thing, e.g
one of our trust that the blood of Jesus gives us access and the necessary boldness to enter the sanctuary and get the help just when we need it most.

By the way, it is not the performance of our own good deeds that grinds us, it is Jesus. It is not us who live anymore, but Jesus, by the Holy Spirit, has taken over our place and life, so that according to God's will, he lives in our place.

We must only allow God in faith to lead us and trust God to know what He is using us for.

God bless you – and free you from achievement.
MAY GOD GUIDE YOU
