The very same Spirit that is in God and Jesus was given to us by God when we came to faith and were born again. In John we read about Jesus and Nicodemus, where Jesus clearly says. You must be born again, have God's Spirit within you before you can see, understand and live close to God.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit that is in God and Jesus, if you do not have the same Spirit in you that is in Jesus from God, you do not belong to God and are just as lost as before you began to search for the meaning of your life and do you also want come to heaven when you are no longer on earth.
Over the years, many have discussed and philosophized about who God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are in order to gain a better understanding of the three. You can never ever learn to understand anything about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit unless God himself by his spirit reveals it to you and convinces your heart of the Truths.
The Holy Spirit is part of the personality of God and Jesus, it means exactly the same Spirit, just as it should be in the lives of all Christians. If all Christians do not have the Spirit in them, no one will be able to see the kingdom of God in the midst of us.
This is the reason for the many directions we have today within church life. Had everyone built on the same Rock, drank the living water of the same Spirit, we would all have the same direction and no differences among Christians.
God is alive and expresses himself in many different ways in the midst of us. He created man in his image so that we resemble him. Therefore, the work of the Holy Spirit in us and among us also looks a lot like us. Yet it is completely supernatural to live in the life of the Holy Spirit. Many cannot see what life you are in, what you have inside you, they do not feel it because they themselves have not received a share in God's Spirit
Many religious people who think they are Christians do not have the Spirit in them, they do not want to enter the kingdom of God, it is usually the people who are keen debaters who try to convince others that they are the ones who have the whole truth, they are always searching for evidence of their own attitudes and opinions, which often have nothing to do with the kingdom of God and His righteousness Jesus. They usually try to gather some people around themselves and believe that all churches/congregations are wrong, self-righteous, inflated as they are, they will not enter the kingdom of God. They even claim to speak in tongues but their tongues are not the language of the Holy Spirit which is given from God as a gift for common good. They claim to be wise and have great revelations, but they have no works or fruits of love produced by the Spirit in their lives. They know almost everything about the Bible but do not live in the life of the Spirit.
If you yourself do not have God's own Spirit in you, you must ask God to give it to you and you will get it. But, first of all, you must acknowledge your need before God, be honest and say it as it is to God. It's no use defending yourself with a whole lot of arguments and excuses before God. Be honest with God. God hates lies, as it says in the Bible, we must not lie either to others or ourselves, much less try to do so to God.
When you get to know God through Jesus through the Holy Spirit, you will understand why and how things are connected, you will find it easier to distinguish what is flesh and spirit. Many times you joke, is this really you, God? You will understand, be able to see why people react so differently to worship, in a prayer group, home meetings, or in any other type of meeting.
Perhaps you have attended a meeting where the power of the Holy Spirit was so present, and wonderful to feel that everyone should just be completely quiet in awe of God and just enjoy His presence. But then you turned to the person next to you and discovered he was full of joy and excitement. He just wanted to sing, clap his hands, dance for God. You would like to say, don't you know that God is here in presence, but don't disturb the holy moment. But the other person didn't understand why you were so serious. Maybe you both thought the other had missed the work of the Holy Spirit, but in reality the Holy Spirit was just working through different facets in the two of you.
Is it contrary to God the Lord's character and unity in Him? No! The men and women of the congregation/church do not all look the same. They dress differently, speak differently and act differently.
They don't do the same things every day - on the contrary, they change something from one day to the next. God the Lord's Spirit does the same in you. When you surrender to God, completely let go of your own life and deeds, it is God through Jesus who chooses how he will act through you. You simply have another Lord than yourself, you are disempowered, powerless in yourself, therefore you must surrender in faith to and take all that you receive from God's hand, delivered to you by God's Holy Spirit, the same Spirit that is in God and Jesus. Because. The Holy Spirit is the personality of God, He has many facets. Jesus says in John. Event 16.8-9. The Holy Spirit comes to convince the world of sin, justice and judgment, of sin that they ikke believe in Me.
This facet draws people to Jesus. The Holy Spirit continues to point out that wrong until people have done away with it and turned away from it completely. This is how the Holy Spirit often works in connection with services where Jesus shows people the truths and makes them stop living in sin, things that do not please God. Conviction can be a lovely thing, but it can be somewhat painful. When the Holy Spirit convinces a person, it can arouse many different emotions.
You who believe in Jesus are God's work. Therefore, you also experience that you are in a cleansing process where you are constantly being cleansed by God. The nature of the Holy Spirit is censorship. It is a holy cry, a righteous anger within you that makes you hate sin, injustice, or take authority over the devil.
It is not always the devil's attack when you suddenly remember something from the past, then it could easily be the Holy Spirit pulling out something you had actually forgotten but the Son of God wants to cleanse you from, or uproot the whole root.
God the Lord's Spirit rises in you so that you stand firm against, so that you hate the sin that destroys God's people. It was this facet of the Holy Spirit that Jesus acted upon when He cleansed the temple.
You can never say, for example, if a Christian doesn't pay tithes, keep alms, do exactly what you think a Christian should live and do, then they are not born again, then the question is whether you personally have the life of the Holy Spirit inside you ?
We are God's work not man's work. We are God's living buildings, a Holy temple of the very same spirit, the Holy Spirit.
It is the spokesperson for God today. It is the guide, It is the teachings in Jesus, It is the comforter in all things, It is the healer. All life is in the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit uses people in different ministries and tasks, it reacts differently according to the situation we are in or what the need is right here and now. If you want to get to know God your Father and the Lord Jesus, live with them now on earth, you must live in the life of the Holy Spirit. Otherwise, you only know a whole lot theoretically, but you know neither the Son Jesus, nor the Father who is God over everything and everyone. To be one in Jesus is to be one in the life of the Holy Spirit.
It is the unity of the Holy Spirit in Jesus that enables us to meet unknown people and just love them from day one, even if we have never met them, we are just totally one. Here someone says the chemistry doesn't really fit, which is a lie, if everyone had the same Spirit, what they call chemistry would be the same.
The Holy Spirit is God's gift to us here and now, it is the pledge God gave us for our eternal life and the Holy Spirit who is in both the Father and the Son shapes and forms praise. It is not our job or a church's job to reshape a person or be a person's controller, we have God the Lord, Jesus and the Holy Spirit for that, who work for God's kingdom and His righteousness in all true Spirit-filled believers even today.
God's peace to you sit down and learn from Jesus, he is the master not all the others you call great men and women in God's kingdom. Jesus says there is only one Master Himself.
