It will be a real pleasure to read the entire section to which the verses refer, so that we do not tear the Bible's messages apart.
Ephesians.4-30
Do not grieve God's Holy Spirit, son you were sealed with until the day of redemption.
Ephesians.1 13-14
In him you also remained when you heard the word of truth. The gospel of your salvation, yes, in Him you too, when you came to faith, were sealed with the Holy Spirit, as it was promised to us. And as a pledge of our inheritance, that His estates may be redeemed. His glory to the law and praise.
1. Heard.
2. Salvation
3. Come to faith.
4 Sealed with the Holy Spirit.
Have you heard the gospel for your salvation by faith, and have you received the Holy Spirit?
It is the condition for reaching the day of redemption. In Romans 10.17 it says. Then faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes with power from the word of Christ. That is, by virtue of the words of God's anointed Son, the words of Jesus. In other words, not from the conclusions of fellow human beings, from the many theories and points of view of connoisseurs. Pure gospel. The Gospel of Jesus Christ
It shows us. Without the preaching and teaching of those truths, no one reaches the day of redemption. It is not a gospel that can be made user-friendly, or modernized to suit all people. Paul writes here about the eschatological redemption that we are waiting for until the redemption of the people of property"Therefore we have received the Holy Spirit as a pledge of our inheritance.
So the Holy Spirit is the guarantee that one day at Jesus' return we will receive our inheritance in the heavenly dwellings. It happens at the resurrection from the dead and in the rapture to the meeting with Jesus in the cloud.
IT CAN ACTUALLY HAPPEN IN OUR TIMES.
Then we understand Ephesians.4-30 Do not grieve God's Holy Spirit, He is the SEAL on our redemption.
Do you know the Holy Spirit in your personal Christian life?
Do you know when you rejoice or when you grieve him?
You cannot know that unless you live in and understand God's word!
Unless you get instruction in the understanding of the Bible.
1 John 3-2 Beloved, now we are God's children, and it has not yet been made visible/revealed what we will become. But we know when He is made visible/revealed, we must become just like Him, because we must see Him as He is.
In Philippians 3.20-21 Paul says
The civil society we now belong to is in the Heavens, from there we also met the Lord Jesus Christ as savior. He must transform the body of our humiliation, and give it the same form as His Body of Glory, by the power with which He can subdue everything. He, Jesus, will change our body of humiliation and give us his body of glory by that POWER, what power? The power of the Holy Spirit, who already lives in us, as the pledge of the resurrection and the rapture. By the same power he shall subdue everything.
WHAT IS EVERYTHING?
ROMANS. 8 22-23 We know that. The whole creation together sighs, and is still in labor right now at this time, not only the whole creation, but also O himself, who has received the Holy Spirit as the firstfruits, sighs with ourselves, as we wait for the birth of children, our redemption of the body.
God's Spirit lives in us, and our body is a temple for him 1 Corinthians.6-19.
The longing for the full redemption of this temple is natural for one who has already had a foretaste of heaven. Is there anything to be said for the Holy Spirit longing for the full redemption of his temple, well no. And it is this longing that we, who have the Holy Spirit, can also feel.
Can you feel this longing in you? Where the Holy Spirit cries Abba Father! Come Lord Jesus, come soon?
1 Thessalonians. 4 16-18
The LORD himself will descend from Heaven, and there will be a command, the voice of an archangel and the trumpet of God. And first the dead in Christ shall rise, then we who are alive and still remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and then we shall always be with the Lord. So comfort him with those words.
It goes far beyond our understanding, but but by the Holy Spirit in us, we can believe it. Those who do not have the Spirit can only receive these thoughts with great unbelief.
Faith in this can only come to you, through the preaching of the word, witnessed by the Holy Spirit, who makes the Word alive for you. and is the truth that sets you completely free.
Without teaching, there will be no insight into the promises and promises of God's Word.
Without the Word being explained/interpreted by the Holy Spirit, often through the services of preachers, many will not be able to see, understand or hear the kingdom of God. Many say. We don't understand all that, what while this and that, they lack preachers who teach from the word of God.
Can the ignorant pagans and the apostate unbelieving Christians then experience the day of redemption?
Yes, if they stop rejecting the Holy Spirit and the ministers God has sent out today to preach the Gospel for salvation, edification, exhortation and comfort. We have a great many apostles, sent out today, who have not spoken in the user-friendly churches today, who only want to hear the user-friendly pre-approved speeches and what they say is relevant to tenits people.
AMEN
