How to enter in to a new cycle of blessings from God

The Bible teaches in Deuteronomy 28:1-14 that obedience activates God's blessings, and see Deuteronomy 28:15-68 that disobedience activates curses from God
Isaiah 43:18 Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
19 See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland.
God works in cycles. When one ends another quickly begins. Everything on earth has a beginning and an end. Our year is ending and the new one is about to begin. It is time to put away what have passed and learn how to enter into the new things that God is doing and preparing for us.
What is a cycle and who originates it?
A cycle is a series of events who take place within a specific period of time, with a beginning and an end. God is the originator of cycles and seasons in our life.
What activates a cycle?
Cycles are activated by obedience and disobedience. Obedience activates a cycle of blessings, and disobedience a cycle of curses. See Deuteronomy 28:1-14 that obedience activates God's blessings, and see Deuteronomy 28:15-68 that disobedience activates curses from God
According Deuteronomy 28 is the thing which decided how the new cycle will take form is living in obedience or living in disobedience decides
Today God is giving us the opportunity to choose obedience to ensure that the cycle that is about to begin is a good one. God wants to bring a new cycle of blessings into our lives. However, for this to happen, we need to reflect on the cycle that is about to end, and make the necessary changes that will ensure that the new one will be full of blessings.
How do we make the transition from an old cycle into a new one?
The Bible says
Philippians 3:13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,
2 Corinthians 5:17 teachers
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:[a] The old has gone, the new is here
Therefore when we think back at the event of the past, we should ask the Holy Spirit to show us what we did wrong, repent for doing it, leave those things in the past, and begin to expect new things to come. We cannot receive new things in Christ, while we still holding on the past offences, mindsets, behaviors and lifestyle. God wants to do something new in our lives, family, business, and finances. So let go of the past, and give God control of your present and future.
What new things should we look forward to?
A new and better job
A transfer of wealth
Graduation
A new home
Debt free living
The salvation of the entire family
New miracles, signs and wonders taking place through us.
We need to examine ourselves
2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?
Before the new cycle begins, we must search our heart, actions, and thoughts. We need to identify the things we did that got in the way of our blessings, and change direction. Otherwise the new year will begin how the old ends. Let’s avoid the same mistakes of the past. It is time for a new cycle of blessings to begin.
We must change our heart and repent
Ezekiel 36:26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
God changes the heart before He changes our season. Sadly, good cycles or seasons will not come until we change our heart. What keeps us from changing?
Pride? If we believe that pride is not an issue with us, but we subconsciously feel that we are always right, then we are prideful. Pride keeps us from our blessings. It is time to wholeheartedly repent and allow God to replace our heart of stone for one of flesh, so we can finally be ready for the new season He has to us.
