It is Jesus Christ's victory on the cross that has disarmed Satan and all his evil spirits. It is the victory of Jesus Christ on the cross that has disarmed Satan with all his accusations against us.
The devil's weapons are powerless when we see Jesus' victory on the cross.
The devil's weapon is the accusation of conscience and the power of sin in people's lives.
Jesus has taken these weapons from him.
Know that He gave His life in perfect obedience to His Father.
All the accusations of the Father were nullified.
The Father was the judge, the great judge until Jesus paid the price for us.
It has never been Satan who has been our judge. His accusations against us are false.
MATTHEW.10-28 "AND FEAR NOT THOSE WHO KILL THE BODY, BUT CANNOT KILL THE SOUL,
FEAR RATHER HIM WHO CAN DESTROY BOTH SOUL AND BODY IN HELL."
Who is he?
It is the Father and not the devil, for he has no power. He himself is going to Hell.
The devil's accusers cannot harm us.
But the Father and the Son had completely different plans for the judgment that we deserved, as the sinners that we were.
They had plans of salvation with the people.
JOHN.3 17-18 "FOR GOD SENT NOT HIS SON INTO THE WORLD TO JUDGE THE WORLD, BUT THAT THE WORLD SHOULD BE SAVED THROUGH HIM. HE WHO BELIEVES IN HIM IS NOT JUDGED, HE WHO DOES NOT BELIEVE IS ALREADY JUDGED, BECAUSE HE HAS NOT BELIEVED IN THE NAME OF GOD'S ONLY SON."
There is someone else who is judged and that is Satan.
JOHANNES.16-11 " ON JUDGMENT: THAT THE PRINCE OF THIS WORLD HAS BEEN JUDGED."
It does not say that he must be judged, but that he has been judged. Therefore he accuses all men.
And if he can get them to believe his words, so that they accept the accusation, then he can drag them into his own fall.
Therefore, the battle of belief or unbelief is against what Jesus has accomplished on the cross.
JOHANNES.12 47-48 " AND IF ANYONE HEAR MY WORDS AND DOES NOT KEEP THEM, THEN I DO NOT JUDGE HIM,
FOR I HAVE NOT COME TO JUDGE THE WORLD, BUT TO SAVE THE WORLD.
HE WHO CALLS ME AND DOES NOT RECEIVE MY WORDS HAS HIS JUDGE:
THE WORD WHICH I HAVE SPOKE SHALL JUDGE HIM ON THE LAST DAY."
So, the Father judges no one.
The Son judges no one.
But those who do not accept the word of the Son are themselves a judge.
For the word of the Son, which they deny, will judge them on the last day.
Thus, because of their unbelief towards the Son, they have condemned themselves to eternal perdition.
It is great wisdom from God that he has granted salvation to all people through the Son's victory on the cross.
And that the judgment is now placed in the people's own hands.
By their acceptance of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross,
are they doomed to salvation.
By rejecting Jesus on the cross, they are condemned to perdition.
Thereby he crushed the devil's head, condemned the sin in the flesh, and nailed the letter of guilt to the cross.
It applied to all people.
Also you who are reading this. You are considered innocent.
Therefore Paul says:
ROMANS.8 33-34 " WHO WILL ACCUSE GOD'S ELECT? GOD IS THE JUSTIFIER.
WHO IS THE CONDEMNATOR? CHRIST IS HE WHO IS DEAD, YEAH MUCH MORE:
Jesus Christ disarmed the powers and authorities
Not only did Jesus die for us sinners, but he also intercedes for us after his resurrection.
Who can say no to such a great salvation?
By grace alone salvation is free to all who will accept it.
But if we don't want to be saved, God doesn't force anyone. If we want to perish, then God is powerless. He has done everything,
it was possible for him and can do no more
JOHN 1-12 " BUT TO ALL THOSE WHO RECEIVED HIM, HE GAVE POWER TO BECOME THE CHILDREN OF GOD, TO THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN HIS NAME."
If you have not accepted Jesus as your personal savior, you must do so now!
No one wants to be lost forever without God and without hope in eternity after death!
Neither do you, right?
Now is the time for you.
Bend your knees now and pray your salvation.
Dear Jesus accept me a poor sinner.
Now let me know that you have atoned for my sin.
I accept you as my personal savior.
I thank you for the cross where you paid the price of sin for me personally Amen!
